Chapter Sixteen
The Lubrei have a version of the Cupid Shuffle. As I hollered and yipped, grinding myself in open air, I knew exactly how hard these people could party and how much fun they could have.
It was totally different experiencing the fun and frivolity versus standing in the wings waiting to serve.
Fun. Dear God, fun!
Such a foreign concept, but oh so welcome. Slinging my shoulders back, a deep back-bend that swirled my tits as though in offering to the night sky, I warbled a semblance of the same synchronized cheer everyone else chanted to.
My bells chimed happily to match my mood.
A large hand skimmed under my shoulderblades and coasted up to cup the back of my head. I knew Ruuneâs touch as much as I knew Korâs. Their hands were on me endlessly, joining me in the convoluted dance to Miri and Titi.
Whereas the females moved sensually, rotating hips and shaking tits, the men stomped and threw around weight. Literally. More than once I watched as Pasha were launched into the air to perform twists, flips, and twirls, only for them to come back down into the arms of their Dorai. Even immersed in the dance myself, I was awestruck by these Tauren.
Kor sluiced in front of me, not hesitating anymore in hefting me up by my hips. He was cautious at the start of the night, but as the aris flowed heavily and a lustful haze descended, seemingly triggered by the heavenly phenomena, the Tohtahk shed some of his inhibitions. Had I argued his embrace, I believe wholeheartedly he would have conceded, but I didnât bitch. I didnât fight. I welcomed him.
His mitts pinched my hips and I knew, for the first time, that I was going to be airborne. I took a shuddering breath one second and the next I was soaring up to the stars.
Some long-dormant part of me triggered, knowing what I needed to do.
Kor threw me in just the right way for me to cock back. I crossed my ankles and pressed my opened hands to either shoulder, spinning myself dizzily in a flipping corkscrew. When I came back down, Kor was scooping me in a long arc just above the hard-packed earth.
I heard roars and screaming cheers as my own try at an aerobatic move â no fucking idea where it came from since Iâd never been within ten miles of a gymnasium since I was in high school â came to a gliding end. The world spun around me even more while my erstwhile lover righted me onto my own two feet.
âHoly shit,â I chortled a little hysterically. âThat was fucking awesome!â
Another cheer went up.
I buckled into Korâs front, my breaths panting, and felt Ruune sidle up to my back. His hands stroked my trembling limbs languidly, his humming along to the barbaric beat of drums and bugling Mahzri loud in my ears.
My long braid â made up of many dozens of smaller braids â was brushed from my back so he could apply his stubbed nose to the peach-fuzz over the nape of my neck.
